Unseen Influences 

There are many hidden or invisible forces that shape, influence, and interact with us in various ways. We experience their impact whether we are aware of them or not. If we are unaware of them, it feels like we are at the mercy of fate. However, once we become aware of them, we can shape our destiny and use them constructively and to our advantage. We can view these forces as guides that challenge, teach, and motivate us, thereby changing our perspective and understanding of them. They are very powerful forces that push or pull us in different direction, affecting our lives, on a personal, collective and cosmic level. 

To illustrate, consider the ocean. On a personal level, the ocean is affected by the creatures that inhabit it and the wind and weather that shape its surface. On a collective level, the ocean is influenced by the sun’s heat and the earth’s rotation. On a cosmic level, the ocean is subject to the gravitational pull of the sun, moon, and planets, as well as the galactic radiation of cosmic rays and gravitational waves. 

As individuals, we are influenced by a myriad of factors, much like the multifaceted influences on the ocean. We are complex systems interacting with various levels of reality: 

Personal Influences: These are the internal biological processes that keep us alive and functioning, such as digestion, hormone production, and circulation. Our emotional and mental states also play a significant role, along with the desires and needs of our soul and ego. These influences can affect our mood, energy, health and well-being. 

Collective Influences: These are the societal and cultural factors that shape us. They include programmed beliefs, social norms, cultural archetypes, and the collective subconscious. These influences can either empower and strengthen us, or they can limit, pressure, and manipulate us, often blinding us to alternative perspectives. 

Cosmic Influences: These are the higher forces that we often overlook. They include astrological, galactic, and spiritual energies. Astrological influences, for instance, can impact our personality development and daily lives in unexpected ways. Each planet in astrology is associated with specific traits that influence our individual characters, moods, strengths, and weaknesses. 

How do we navigate all these influences?  

The first step is to notice and acknowledge them. We can do this by paying attention to our physical sensations, emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and intuitions. Once we’ve acknowledged these influences, we can decide how to interact with them. We can choose to engage with them to learn and grow, or to let them be and accept them for what they are, or to let them go if they do not serve us. Once we see them, understand their positive and negative influences on us, explore their potential, and integrate their lessons, we can find our balance and reach a harmonious equilibrium with them. This allows us to harness their power and influence, letting them flow freely through us. 

Upon critical and objective examination of our lives, we may find that we often operate on autopilot, largely due to the distractions and temptations of modern society caused by the outward focus of our senses. And so many of us go through life without much awareness of ourselves or our surroundings. We act on habits, impulses, and reactions that are often unconscious and unexamined. We feel attracted or repelled by certain things without fully understanding why, and as a result, we may relinquish our personal power to external authorities, who tell us what to do and think. It’s important to remember that our personal power is inherently ours and cannot be taken away by anyone. However, we often unknowingly give away our power in substantial amounts, leading to feelings of exhaustion and powerlessness. 

The unknown can often be intimidating, triggering feelings of fear, uncertainty, and doubt. However, once these unknown elements are brought into the light and understood, we gain the courage to face them. Through this process of learning and integration, we can overcome or assimilate these elements, thereby reclaiming our power.  

It may seem straightforward, but it’s far from it! It’s no surprise that we require multiple lifetimes, across various dimensions and densities, in numerous realms to navigate these influences.  

However, at present, we have a physical body on Earth, which to some extent simplifies the process. We can start here and now, with this physical body on this planet Earth: 

Science is making significant strides in understanding the complex systems within our physical body and brain. While we are only beginning to scratch the surface, progress is being made. This allows us to start grasping the factors that influence our existence on the physical level. We can start by taking care of our basic needs: nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management, etc.  

Next up is the psychological spectrum of thought, emotions, and the subconscious. Harder to define but reasonably well studied and there is a lot of help available to us. We can start by becoming more aware of our thoughts and emotions, and how they affect us and others. 

Another way to become more conscious of these forces is to learn about the collective and cosmic forces that shape our world and our lives. For example, we can study astrology to understand how the planets affect your personality, mood, relationships, career, etc. We can also research the history, culture, myths, symbols, and archetypes of different civilizations and traditions to see how they reflect the collective subconscious of humanity. We can also explore the spiritual teachings and practices of various religions and philosophies to discover how they connect us to higher realms of existence. 
 

Navigating these unseen influences is a journey that may span a lifetime or even multiple lifetimes. However, by taking small, conscious steps each day towards self-awareness and empowerment, we can make progress. This journey involves embracing our true selves and our inherent freedom. By doing so, we can transform external forces into internal allies that support us on our life’s journey.
