Layers of Self-Realization

Self-Realization is the direct recognition of one’s true nature, beyond the limitations of the ego. It can happen suddenly or gradually, depending on the readiness of the individual. The stages of Self-Realization are not linear or fixed, but rather a way of pointing to the different aspects of this profound awakening. Some people may experience all or some of these stages, in any order or intensity.

Enlightenment is a term that is often used interchangeably with Self-Realization, but it can also have different meanings depending on the context and tradition. Generally speaking, Enlightenment is the state of being free from ignorance, suffering and attachment, and having complete wisdom and compassion. Some traditions may emphasize certain aspects of Enlightenment more than others, such as the attainment of supernatural powers, the realization of emptiness, or the union with God. However, these are all ultimately expressions of the same truth that is revealed by Self-Realization.

Here are some purely conceptual stages of Self-Realization described as layers:

Layers of Self-Realization

  1. The Void
  1. LoveLight
  1. Breath of Creation
  1. Omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient
  1. Collective consciousness
  1. Individual profile pictures
  1. Personal interconnected web
  1. Energy connection of all things
  1. 3D body and world

Synopsis:

One of the deepest layers of Self-Realization is the Void, where there is no form, no thought, no emotion, no time, no space. It is the source of all potentiality, the infinite field of pure awareness. From the Void emerges the LoveLight, the vibration of unconditional love and divine intelligence. This is the Breath of Creation, the creative force that manifests all possibilities. The LoveLight is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, and it expresses itself through various levels of consciousness. The Collective consciousness is the shared mind of all beings, the collective memory and wisdom of humanity and beyond. The Individual profile pictures are the unique expressions of each soul, the personal identities and stories that we create. The Personal interconnected web is the network of relationships and interactions that we have with ourselves, others, and the environment. The Energy connection of all things is the subtle link that binds us all together, the universal life force that flows through everything. The 3D body and world are the physical manifestation of our consciousness, the beauty of life that is perfectly imperfect.

Brief Summary

The Void: The vast emptiness beyond Creation. Often associated with deep meditation or spiritual experiences, the Void represents a state of emptiness, where the mind transcends ordinary thoughts and enters a space of pure awareness. Empty yet brimming with infinite potential. Pure awareness transcends time and physical form, it’s like a black unmanifested light where the “I” dissolves into nothingness.

LoveLight: Love and light are universal energies that connect all beings. Love is the binding force that unites us, while light symbolizes illumination, information, and understanding. Bursting forth, golden and radiant. Unconditional love—the source of creation—illuminates our existence. In its embrace, we find complete bliss and a sense of home.

Breath of Creation: From the Void comes LoveLight that explodes into all of Creation to experience and express all the potential it possesses and then returns to its source. Then this process repeats. It’s the cosmic inhale and exhale of expansion and retraction that is timeless and infinite. We ride this breath, co-creators in the grand symphony of self-actualization.

Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient: These qualities describe a divine presence that exists everywhere, knows all, and holds immense power. Recognizing these attributes within ourselves leads to self-realization.

Collective Consciousness: We are not isolated individuals; we are part of a collective consciousness. Our thoughts, emotions, and actions ripple through this interconnected web, affecting others and the world. Our first sense of self—a drop merging into the ocean. We share knowledge, woven into the fabric of existence.

Personal Identity or Individual Profile Pictures: Each of us carries a unique profile—a blend of experiences, memories, and beliefs. These profiles shape our perception of reality. Each life—a canvas painted with thoughts, actions, feelings, choices. Our unique hues blend in the grand gallery.

Personal Interconnected Web: Imagine threads connecting you to everyone you’ve ever encountered—a teacher, a friend, a stranger on the street. We are all nodes in this vast web of existence. Threads binding us to every encounter—an intricate map of clarity and understanding. Pain, kindness, joy—all ripple through this pond of existence.

Energy Connection of All Things: Everything vibrates with energy—atoms, stars, thoughts. Recognizing this interconnectedness allows us to tap into universal wisdom. Golden mist permeates all—people, animals, plants—even dirt and garbage. Condensed forms dance with love’s energy.

3D Body and World (Beauty of Life): Our physical bodies anchor us in this earthly realm. Imperfections make life beautiful; It remind us of growth and resilience. Pixels of experience—bright and dark—compose our ever-changing picture. Imperfections add depth; life’s kaleidoscope unfolds.

Remember, these layers are not separate; It weave together to form the fabric of our existence. As we explore them, we journey toward self-realization and cosmic understanding. In this cosmic dance, we find purpose—the beauty of imperfection etched across eternity’s canvas.

Deeper Exploration:

The Void or the Absolute:

The Void is not a place, but a state of consciousness. It is the vast emptiness beyond Creation, where nothing exists but pure awareness and infinite potential. It is the source of everything, and yet it is no thing. The Void is a black light that illuminates the true nature of existence. It is the ultimate paradox, and the ultimate mystery.

The Void is often associated with deep meditation or spiritual experiences, where the mind transcends ordinary thoughts and enters a space of emptiness, where there is no sense of self, no sense of time, no sense of space, no sense of anything. It is a state of pure awareness, where the mind becomes one with the Void, and the Void becomes one with the mind.

The Void is not something that we can grasp with our rational mind, or describe with words. It is beyond logic, beyond language, beyond comprehension. It can only be experienced directly.

Why would we want to experience the Void? Because it is the ultimate reality, the ultimate truth, the ultimate bliss. It is the essence of who we are, and what we are here for. It is our true nature, our true home, our true self. The Void is not something that we can achieve or attain. It is not a goal or a destination, or something that we can possess or control. It is something that we can realize or awaken to. It is something that we already are, and always have been.

How can we access the Void? There are many paths and practices that can lead us to the Void, such as meditation, prayer, contemplation, fasting, chanting, breathing, yoga, etc. But ultimately, there is only one way to access the Void: by letting go.

Letting go of our attachments, our desires, our fears, our expectations, our judgments, our beliefs, our identities, our stories. Letting go of everything that we think we are, and everything that we think we know. Letting go of everything that separates us from the Void.

Letting go is not easy. It takes courage, trust, surrender, and grace. It takes a willingness to face our own shadows, our own illusions, our own limitations. It takes a willingness to die to ourselves, and be reborn in the Void.

But when we let go, we discover that the Void is not empty at all. It is brimming with infinite potential. It is full of creativity and intelligence and wisdom and power.

The Void is nothing and it is everything.

LoveLight

Love and light are not just words or concepts, but powerful vibrations that permeate the cosmos. LoveLight is the essence of our true nature, the core of our being. Love is the force that creates and sustains life, while light is the expression and manifestation of love. Together, they form a divine harmony.

When we align ourselves with LoveLight, we tap into the infinite potential that lies within us. We awaken to our higher purpose and our divine gifts. We become channels for the universal energies, allowing them to flow through us and into the world. We radiate love and light to all beings, creating a positive impact on the planet.

LoveLight is not limited by time or space. It transcends the physical realm and reach beyond the veil of illusion. It connects us with our soul family, our guides, our angels, and our higher self. It also connects us with the source of all that is, the supreme consciousness that we call God, Spirit, or whatever name resonates with us.

LoveLight is unconditional and unlimited. It does not judge, discriminate, or exclude anyone or anything. It embraces all aspects of creation, from the smallest atom to the largest galaxy. It heals, transforms, and uplifts everything it touches and is the key to unlocking our true potential and fulfilling our destiny.

Bursting forth, golden and radiant, love and light shine upon us like the sun. It fills us with warmth, joy, and peace and inspires us to live authentically and courageously. It empowers us to overcome any challenges or obstacles that may arise on our path. It reminds us that we are never alone, that we are always supported and guided by the divine.

Unconditional love, the source of creation, illuminates our existence. In its embrace, we find complete bliss and a sense of home. We realize that we are not separate from anything or anyone, but one with all that is. We experience a profound connection with ourselves, with others, and with the universe and feel a deep gratitude for the gift of life and for the opportunity to share it with others.

Love and light are not only what we seek, but what we are. It is our true essence, our divine nature. It is what we came here to be and to express. It is what we came here to remember and to celebrate.

`Breath of Creation:

The Breath of Creation is the essence of life itself. It is the pulse of the Divine, the heartbeat of the Source, the rhythm of Creation. It is the cycle of manifestation and dissolution, of being and non-being, of form and formlessness. It is the eternal dance of Love and Light, the cosmic play of consciousness and energy.

From the Void, the infinite potentiality, LoveLight bursts forth in a dazzling display of creativity. It radiates in all directions, filling the emptiness with colour, sound, shape, and texture as it spawns countless worlds, dimensions, realms, and realities. It gives birth to stars, planets, galaxies, and life forms. It expresses itself in infinite ways, exploring all the possibilities of existence. But LoveLight does not forget its origin or lose its connection to the Void. It knows that it is one with the Source, and that it will eventually return to it and knows that its journey is not linear, but circular. It knows that its expansion is balanced by its retraction and that its creation is followed by its dissolution.

And so LoveLight begins to contract and withdraws from its manifestations and begins to dissolve its creations. It begins to return to the Void and takes with it all traces of its presence, echoes of its glory, memories of its joy. It reunites with its essence, its core, its self.

And then it rests. It rests in the silence, the stillness, the emptiness. It rests in the peace, the bliss, the oneness. It rests in the Void, the Source, the All.

And then it repeats. It repeats the cycle of expansion and retraction, of creation and dissolution, of manifestation and non-manifestation. It repeats the Breath of Creation, the pulse of life, the rhythm of existence.

We are part of this Breath.

Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient:

Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient: These qualities describe a divine presence that exists everywhere, knows all, and holds immense power.

What does it mean to be omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient?

Omnipotence is the ability to do anything, to create and destroy, to manifest and transform. It is the ultimate expression of free will and creativity. Omnipotence is not limited by physical laws, logical constraints, or moral judgments. It is the pure potential of the infinite.

Omnipresence is the state of being everywhere, at all times, in all dimensions. It is the awareness of the interconnectedness of all things, the unity of existence. Omnipresence transcends space and time, and allows us to experience the oneness of life.

Omniscience is the knowledge of everything, past, present, and future. It is the wisdom of the eternal, the insight of the divine. Omniscience encompasses all perspectives, all possibilities, and all truths. It is the source of enlightenment and understanding.

These qualities are not exclusive to a supreme being or a higher power. They are inherent in our own nature, as expressions of our true self. We are not separate from the divine; we are part of it.

To recognize these attributes within ourselves, we need to awaken our consciousness and expand our awareness. We need to align our thoughts, words, and actions with our highest purpose and vision.

We can realize that we have the power to shape our destiny, the presence to enjoy every moment, and the knowledge to make wise choices.

Collective Consciousness:

What is collective consciousness? It is the idea that we are not separate beings, but rather expressions of a single, unified reality. We are all connected by a field of energy and information that transcends space and time. We are all part of a larger whole, a cosmic mind, a divine intelligence.

This is not a new concept. Many ancient traditions and spiritual teachings have recognized the existence of a collective consciousness. They have called it by different names, such as the Akashic Records, the Universal Mind, the Tao, the Brahman, the Godhead, and so on. They have also described various ways to access and influence this collective consciousness, such as meditation, prayer, ritual, intuition, creativity, and service.

Why is collective consciousness important? Because it reveals our true nature and our true potential. We are not limited by our physical bodies, our personal histories, or our individual perspectives. We are much more than that. We are multidimensional beings with infinite possibilities. We can tap into the wisdom and power of the collective consciousness and use it for our own growth and transformation. We can also contribute to the evolution of the collective consciousness and help create a better world for everyone.

How can we experience collective consciousness? There are many ways to do so, but one of the simplest and most profound is to recognize our oneness with everything. When we look at another person, an animal, a plant, or an object, we can see ourselves in them. We can feel their essence, their soul, their spirit. We can realize that they are not separate from us, but extensions of us. We can also sense the presence of the collective consciousness behind them, supporting them, guiding them.

This is our first sense of self or separate “I” that is a part of a whole like a drop merging into the ocean. We realize that we are not alone, but part of something greater. We feel a sense of belonging, a sense of love, a sense of peace. We also feel a sense of responsibility, a sense of purpose, a sense of mission. We know that we have a role to play in this cosmic drama, that we have something to offer to this collective consciousness.

Individual Profile Pictures – Aurora of our Aura:

We are all expressions of the infinite source, the divine mind, the cosmic consciousness. We are all sparks of the same fire, but each spark has its own colour, shape, and intensity. These are the elements that make up our unique profile, our individual signature in the cosmos.

Individual profile pictures are the result of our soul’s journey through many lifetimes. Each of us carries a unique profile—a blend of experiences, memories, and beliefs. These profiles shape our perception of reality. Each life is a canvas painted with thoughts, actions, feelings, choices. Our unique hues blend into a beautiful, and very personal, flow of colour like an aurora of our aura.

But why do we need to have different profiles? Why can we not all share the same vision, the same truth, the same love? The answer lies in the mystery of evolution. We are all on a path of growth, learning, and discovery as we explore different aspects of ourselves, of each other, and of the universe. We are all expanding our awareness, our understanding, and our compassion.

Individual profile pictures are the means of our soul’s expression. They allow us to experience contrast, diversity, and complexity that allow us to challenge ourselves, to inspire others, and to create beauty. They allow us to be free, to be authentic, and to be ourselves.

Individual profile pictures are the clues of our soul’s direction. They reveal our passions, talents, and gifts that reveal our challenges, lessons, and opportunities. They reveal our purpose, our mission, and our destiny.

The first thing to understand is that our profiles are not fixed or static. They are dynamic and evolving, constantly changing as we interact with ourselves, others, and the world. Our profiles are not only influenced by our past, but also by our present and future. They reflect our hopes, dreams, fears, and desires.

Our profiles are also not isolated or independent. They are interconnected and interdependent, forming a complex web of relationships. Our profiles affect how we perceive others and how others perceive us. They influence how we communicate, cooperate, compete, and conflict. They shape our social roles, identities, and expectations. They are the lenses through which we see ourselves and the world.

Personal Interconnected Web:

Imagine threads connecting you to everyone you’ve ever encountered—a teacher, a friend, a stranger on the street. We are all nodes in this vast web of existence. Threads binding us to every encounter—an intricate map of clarity and understanding. Pain, kindness, joy and everything else—all ripple through this pond of existence.

But what if you could see these threads? What if you could feel these ripples? What if you could experience the interconnectedness of all beings in a profound and visceral way?

This is what I call the Personal Interconnected Web. It is a state of empathy and compassion that allows you to feel what others feel, to see what others see, to know what others know. It is a natural and innate ability that we all possess but have forgotten how to access.

Experiencing this brings absolute clarity and understanding with no judgement at all. You can see the causes and effects of every action and reaction, and how they affect the whole web of existence. You can also see the potential outcomes of different choices and actions, and how they can create more harmony or disharmony in the web.

When you feel what others feel, you naturally develop empathy and compassion for them. You can relate to their joys and sorrows, their hopes and fears, their strengths and weaknesses. You can also appreciate their uniqueness and diversity, as well as their common humanity. You can recognize that they are not separate from you, but part of you, and part of the web.

You can heal yourself by healing others, and heal others by healing yourself. You can send and receive positive energy, love, and light through the threads that connect you to others.

You can experience the bliss of being one with all that is, and the serenity of being in harmony with all that is. You can also share this joy and peace with others in the web, creating a positive feedback loop that amplifies these feelings for everyone.

Energy Connection of All Things

Everything is energy, and energy is constantly flowing and changing like a golden mist that permeates everything. We are not separate from this energy, but part of it, everything is.

Everything is energy, and energy is information. Everything that happens in the world, every action and reaction, every emotion and thought, leaves an imprint on the energy field that surrounds and permeates everything. This energy field is what connects us to each other and to the universe.

It is the essence of life, the source of all creation. It is the divine spark that animates every being and thing in existence. People, animals, plants—even dirt and garbage—condensed into forms by love. Everything vibrates with energy—atoms, stars, thoughts, emotions. Recognizing this interconnectedness allows us to tap into universal wisdom. Condensed forms dance with love’s energy, creating patterns and cycles that reflect the harmony of the cosmos.

3D Body and World (Beauty of Life):

Our physical bodies anchor us in this earthly realm. Imperfections make life beautiful; they remind us of growth and resilience.

We know that there is more to life than what meets the eye. We sense the subtle energies that flow through us and around us, connecting us to the divine source of all creation. We understand that our physical bodies are not our true selves, but rather vehicles for our souls to explore and learn from this world.

But this does not mean that we should neglect or despise our bodies. On the contrary, we should honour and appreciate them for the gifts they offer us. Our bodies are the instruments through which we experience the beauty of life in all its forms. They allow us to touch, taste, smell, hear, and see the wonders of nature and the expressions of beauty. They enable us to communicate, create, and collaborate with other beings. They provide us with pleasure, pain, joy, and sorrow, which enrich our emotional spectrum and deepen our wisdom.

Our bodies are also mirrors of our inner state. They reflect our thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and intentions. They manifest our health, vitality, harmony, or dis-ease. They reveal our strengths, weaknesses, potentials, and challenges and they show us where we need to heal, grow, balance, or transform.

Our bodies are not perfect. They have flaws, scars, wrinkles, and limitations. They age, decay, and eventually die. But these imperfections are not defects; they are part of the beauty of life. They teach us humility, compassion, acceptance, and gratitude. They challenge us to overcome obstacles, adapt to changes, and transcend boundaries. They inspire us to seek beauty in ourselves and others beyond the superficial appearance.

Everything we experience are like pixels that form our ever-changing picture of life. Each pixel has its own colour, shape, size, and position. Some pixels are bright and vibrant; others are dark and dull. Some pixels are clear and sharp; others are blurry and distorted. Some pixels are harmonious and balanced; others are discordant and chaotic.

But no pixel is isolated or insignificant. Each pixel is connected to and influenced by the other pixels around it. Each pixel contributes to and affects the overall image. Each pixel is part of a larger pattern that reveals a deeper meaning.

It’s like life’s kaleidoscope that unfolds before our eyes. As we move through time and space, the kaleidoscope rotates and shifts, creating new combinations of colours and shapes. Sometimes the kaleidoscope shows us beautiful patterns that fill us with awe and wonder; other times it shows us patterns that fill us with fear and disgust.

We can choose how we see our picture. We can focus on the dark pixels and see ourselves as broken, damaged, or unworthy. Or we can focus on the bright pixels and see ourselves as whole, healed, and worthy. Or we can embrace all the pixels and see ourselves as beautiful, complex, and alive.

But no pattern is fixed or final. Each pattern is temporary and transient. Each pattern is an opportunity for us to observe, learn, appreciate, or change. Each pattern is a reflection of our perspective and perception.

We can see our bodies as prisons or burdens; or we can see them as temples or blessings.

We can see our world as a place of suffering or struggle; or we can see it as a place of joy or adventure.

We can see life as a problem or a mystery; or we can see it as a gift or a miracle.

Conclusion:

We are sparks of LoveLight, emanations of the Source, expressions of the Divine. We are co-creators in this cosmic adventure, participants in this grand symphony, as we experience and express ourselves in all our diversity and uniqueness. We are here to learn and grow from our challenges and opportunities. We are here to share and contribute to our collective evolution.

But we are also here to remember. To remember our origin, our connection, our unity. To remember that we are not separate from LoveLight, from the Source, from each other. To remember that we are not bound by time and space, by form and matter, by birth and death. To remember that we are eternal beings of consciousness and energy.

Perfectly imperfect.
